PROVIDENCE – July 1, 2008 – Accounting Management Solutions, Inc. (AMS), one of the fastest-growing private companies in the country, today announced that it has established an office in Providence and named Rebeka Mazzone as Director of Business Development and Client Services for Rhode Island.
The expansion, which parallels a similar recent move in New York City, will enable AMS, based in Waltham, Mass., to continue to provide comprehensive accounting, financial management, and consulting services to nonprofit, public, private, and professional organizations in Rhode Island.
“Our Providence office, led by Rebeka, enables us to be even more responsive to the service requirements of our growing Rhode Island client base, especially those organizations with multiple sites,” said AMS President James P. Bourdon.

Mazzone, who has been with AMS since 2003, works with clients on their full range of accounting and financial management needs—from developing policies and procedures to preparing financial statements and working with their auditors. Before joining AMS, she was an audit manager for KPMG, LLP.
Mazzone, who earned her BS degree in accounting from St. John Fisher College, is a certified public accountant. She is a member of the AICPA and RISCPA Non-profit Committee, and is C4P–Tax Credit Compliance certified.
