
Tom Gorman has extensive experience working with colleges and universities as well as governments.
Tom most recently worked at KPMG LLP where he led services for public and private colleges and universities, and other not-for-profit organizations.
Previously he was the deputy state auditor for the state of Vermont. His prior roles included positions with McSoley, McCoy & Company, Arthur Andersen & Co., and volunteering with Financial Services Volunteer Corp where he evaluated the internal controls and audit infrastructure of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Tom speaks on Enterprise Risk Management and other related topics. Recently, Tom and Helen Clements, Comptroller, North Shore Community College (NSCC), were selected by the Eastern Association of College and University Business Officers (EACUBO) to address how NSCC is replacing a more traditional risk management approach with a robust Enterprise Risk Management program.
Tom earned a B.S.B.A degree from Georgetown University and holds a CPA license in Vermont and Massachusetts and a permit to practice in New Hampshire.
